You know what, I agree with Flakko. The motor being red too does offset it a bit. After thinking about it fully, I would probably keep the basket red, and make the motor that dark gray. I was confusing myself earlier.

me too it is yours to do waht you like with. how will the paint affect the heat transfer abilities?
