Got a different vehicle!..

Yeah engine is pretty clean, car has 129,000 miles though. I have already put new plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, and fuel filter on her. Next I'm replacing the coil ignition then putting an all new exhaust system on from exhaust manifold back. Car is fairly easy to work on under hood, I'm liking that.
Replace the valve cover gasket as well if you can. They are neglected all the time in those cars. As for 129k that is nothing I sold mine over the summer and it was just shy of 300k and ran like a champ still.(mine was only a two owner though)

 
Yeah I need to do that, looks like it would be fairly easy and a quick job to replace the valve cover gasket.. I am experiencing random dying every once in a while, engine just shuts off then takes a random amount of time before it starts back up, so I'm guessing it's the ignition coil needing replaced. I have talked to a couple local Integra enthusiasts along with doing a little research online about it and it seems that that is a pretty common symptom and problem that integras seem to go through.

 
Dont put a poot pipe on it whatever you do. Clean car though. And youd be likely right about the coil, they tend to open up when they get hot and shut the car down. That or a malfunctioning temp sensor
its a four cylinder.. as soon as you get on it its going to sound bad with an exhaust.. unless you get a really long resonator

Temp Sensor? Details? As far as the Ignition coil it makes sense because it's at any random time after the car has ran for a while (and is warmed up).

Yeah I am putting a long resonator on it. Replacing the stock cat with a high flow cat and a new muffler everything is going to be brand new stainless steel from exhaust manifold back. I believe it comes with a silencer for the muffler so if it ends up annoying I'll throw that on.

Nice car, but take care of that rust asap bro.
That's the plan eventually I am going to do some body work and make her look prime again.

Dont bother doing any exhaust or performance work to it, its a slow *** economy car. Spend your money on appearance and subs. The temp sensor will shut the car down if it gets too hot or isnt working right on some cars, same with the oil pressure sensor. Some cars will not even start if the oil is too thin. Every time i buy a fuel injected car or a friend does i replace all the FI sensors starting with the cheapest first. It will cost a good chunk of change but you wanna fix the part on your time, not on its time.

 
if i remember correctly when my 91 would stall and die the check engine light would come on for a sec. the code might be stored. take it to advanced and get them to scan

 
Oh ok. If it stores that would be awesome. Because it does come on after it stalls out but only at that time. When would start again it would not be on. Hopefully it would store and they could read a code. Thanks for the info.
