I've driven Shifter Karts, highly modified, and even then top speed is around 120. Unless you got a gokart without a regular engine, no way in hell you're doing 130+ in a gokart.

40 over is a hefty ticket mang. Coulda made you leave your car on the side of the road and took you to jail. NC is felony at 15 over IIRC. I would go to the magistrate and see what he can do for ya. I had a friend that got 2 tickets in 5 days for speeding and they all got reduced to under 5 over. Hes not 18 either and his insurance didnt go up. You can do the Prayer of Judgement too.
