Bro you werent speeding, you were flying a plane can take off the ground at 110mph iirc...you were going ridiculous fast (for a 55). Im almost certain the cop could have done much worse then a ticket. As to fight it dont try to "prove" your point. Id admit your wrong in trying to pass someone at stupid speeds though, and pay a lawyer he will do his best to keep it from hitting you as hard. If you go in without one more then likely theyre gonna try and stick it to you worse.

Ive played those games with rice burners before, they just act like assholes when they see a "muscle car" try to pass them. My issue was i had slowed down and was about to merge back over and he sped up and got beside me. I know if i had hit the brakes i wouldve merged and hit the guy behind me either that or he wouldve hit the brakes too. I was just trying to haul *** and get past him due to the corner coming up.

so you made the situation worse knowing that he was speeding up....and then you still tried to pass him

I got 93 in a 65 a few months ago....was like $350 with all fess, no lawyer.

no jail, kept license, insurance stayed the same, just a fine. Ft worth area

My dad got 95 mph ticket on 30 mph road lol. All he had to do is pay 350 bucks and things go back to normal. I am not kidding at all. He got nearly perfect driving record so that might have helped. Cop was pissed as hell though. It happened about 5 years ago when the 2004 F-150 was new in the family.

We lived in Indiana that time and I was 15 yrs old, not legally driving yet. I ordered a pizza after midnight my dad was not in the mood to drive out for me but no one else would so he took me. He darted down on a one lane backroad, usually no cops there but this time there was a cop coming from the opposite direction. My dad even braked to get the speed down, he was going over 100.

He knew he deserved the ticket lol. Thankfully, nothing else was affected.

i got 95 in a 55 it was 5 points lost license for 15 days a firm scolding from some driving instructor **** and a fine of like 210 dollars.

I got busted for a 59 in a 35. Went to court. said not guilty etc, waited around some more. They offered 140 dollar fine and the ticket to go on record as a 39 in a 35. usually if you go to court and sit there then they will ease it up just because they dont want to deal with you. If its your first time it usually helps.

OP speeds by him

Ricer "F*cking muscle car, i'll show him what a true race car is!"

Ricer starts accelerating

OP sees ricer accelerating. "He must want a race, i'll let him have his race"

OP starts accelerating again.

Cop decides to pull over OP instead of ricer.

Ha my first speeding ticket was 93 on 65mph zone - I had a little VW Golf and I was doing 120+mph minutes before I got pulled over.

Went to court because it was mandatory, it was 3 counties away too. The judge and another guy said since I had a spotless driving record they reduced it to 6 points on the license and 170 dollar fine, and I didn't have to pay for court cost. I should of lost my license for awhile and got a much bigger fine.

Anytime you show up in court(mandatory or not) for traffic violations they'll ALWAYS reduce it.
