So if you have an answer already and have a game plan, why are you asking people on here, and then getting mad at their response. If this is your first ticket, then almost everyone here has more real world experience with it than you. if you are just honest and tell them you didn't realize that the speed limit changed and that a guy was tailgating you, then they will ask the officer if you have any priors and the officer will hand the judge your ticket history and then he can offer driving school to avoid any points on your record and no increase in insurance rates. Now going in the court house well articulated and trying to disprove the charges may back fire. Sometimes the judge will take that as you are trying to insult his intelligence and experience and may end up throwing the book at you so beware. The suggestion of speaking to the officer ahead of time can also help you out and say you alot of hassle.
