Good vent size for an 12' L5????????

Sup people, these are my box dimensions

Width 24 Inches

Height 15.5 Inches

Depth 14 Inches

Total Cu Ft: 2.28

Now my Kicker sub is not going to be perfectly centered its gonna be about 4 Inches over on the right leaving me with plenty of space

For the vent I was thinking 1.5 Inches wide, 11 inches in length(same size as sub slot)

I dont want the sub to blow or anything i want to hit hard tho

It won't blow but I would go for for more like 40 sq/in with that sub. Going with smaller will be ok, just many get a little distortion / port niose at high volume.

i built one for a single 12" L5 the black cone one so its like the 02 or 04 model.

enclosure specs.

enclosure volume = 3.493cuft

tuning:

34.70

port area: dual 28.5cuin, 57cuin total.

port dimensions:

2 ports at 4" x 7" x 39.75"

it hit low and it hit hard.
