lol subs legal spl amps were rated loosely (iasca rated the 6.0 soundstream @ 50 watts was closer to 600 mono) outlaw i had horns (image dynamics) and they didnt filter the mic back then so if you put the mic in the horn throat it would register mid 150's

 
welp as goofy as it may sound besides class d amps of today old "comp" amps were pretty lean and mean rated at 25x 2 into 4 ohms did "600" into 2 ohms mono lol ask zane if i ever find my scanner disc i'll scan you some old amp specs. they used to have classes in iasca like 0-50 50-100 100-250 150-300 ect ect just depended on the year, and the "lil watt" cars were for the most part at least as powerful as the bigger cars.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
