JL Audio 12" w3 D4

WHAT is D4 and what is D2 ... and how does it help anything ?

I am lost. WHich is better D2 or D4 and what does D stand for ? lol

I may be wrong but I believe the D is for dual voice coil..haven't been keping up with JL lately. Anyway the D2 is either going to be dual 2 ohm voice coils or just one 2 ohm voice coil..D4 same thing ohml 4 ohms.
