Ok I am getting a JBL BP1200.1 Amp and I want to know what 1 Single 15" Would be the best for that to push FOr extremely loud, hard hitting, deep bass. Would that JBL amp push a juggernaut good? NO? Maybe? Please some suggestions for 1 15" setups that would push good with the amp, also I can have a max of about 4.5 CUBIC FOOT box.

Also, is that amp Digital and whats BP stand for??????

I was thinking of DD9515, SP15 (E designs), Juggernaut, Brahma, and what else,

Also I was planning to find one used for around 300 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am looking for mostly SPL and some SQ prolly about 70% SPL and about 30% SQ.

Thanks

can't go wrong with a vega stroker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

earthquake and memphis also make some pretty mean subs that will eat your eardrums on 1200w....

I'm using my 1200.1 to push an audiobahn 1200Q, and i do consistant low 140's with a sealed box, and mid 140's with a tuned vented enclosure in a standard cab ranger.....not bad for a $120 sub that's using only half the amp's rated power. If you aren't one of those horrible audiobahn hater monsters, i'd recomend using your $300 to buy a pair of 1200Q's and putting them in a big f'in ported box....it's more like 85% SPL, 15% SQ, but you won't be sorry. I'm going to spring for a second sub as soon as I can find a little hatchback to put them in.

i agree with ben on the DD subject. i can promise you that DD will tell you 4.5cuft isn't enough for a 9515 hell they would say it is not even enough for a 3515 b/c i assume your talking before displacement??? anyway i'd say go with a Juggy or a Memphis LVS those subs pound very very hard. yes loneranger i am an audiobahn hate monster but i will even agree with you that they are fully capable SPL subs i just hate em but he might like em so think about them too.

Ya about 4.5Cubic feet before displacement around 4 ft after displacement around there. JBL 1200 Watt amps can push juggys good??? ALso what does BP stand for and is the JBL 1200 mon amp digital???

How much space does a jug neeD?

JBL amp - is not digital
JBL IS a class D amp. As of yet, there is not a single 'digital' amp available to the public. Texas Instruments and a couple other companies are working on making digital amps available to the public, but they wont have much power at all.

I use a 1200.1 with my 15" RE HC and it kicks butt, my box is about 4cuft and a little over 3.5cuft after woofer and port displacement. I used 40 sqin of port and its tuned to 33hz

Originally posted by lcpunk69 the only sub I have heard out of the ones Im looking for is the Juggy 15" I want something that is pretty equal to that,
SP or XXX imo will have absolutly no problem doing a tad more than the jugg. IMO the thing becomes 1. box size. 2. willing to wait or not (might not even end up having to really do that) 3. what you want to spend. Using the original varaible you set out. 3.5-4 cubes, tuned to 42hz, should give you just what your looking for from the SP.

Ben

Ya the jugg needs a bit bigger box with a min of 4.5 also the ohm dont match up for the JBL1200.1 so im now looking at either waiting and paying alot of money (for me) for the 15SP or finding a used XXX for around 300.
