For a mix of both, id get a Soundsplinter RLS mated to an Orion 2500D

...have an amish guy make you a custom box (give him lk $10-15 and the matierals)

If you have the room, I'd go hornloaded

use the rest of the money to buy a beefy alternator

2 mtx sledgehammer 9512s with a spkrman box and a orion 2500D amp... Or 1 W7 with 1000/1 jl amp.... sleges would be much louder....IMO!
