So I was sadly informed that when I install a after market stereo, it's in a small recess in my dash... Therefor I can't have any sort of fold down, or motorized face plates on my unit...

I want quality with my stereo and am Willing to pay around $300 to $400, but as far as I can tell, everything that's quality has a hidden CD slot.

Are there any CD/MP3/WMA Headunits, or cheap DVD/MP3 Headunits availible that won't interfere with this problem?

Only option if you want alot of the features you listed in you other thread is the Alpine 9860/h701 combo you can put it together for about $500.00.

or you could just go audiophile grade like so

Anyhow, again, what car are we dealing with? Honestly, I can't think of too many decks. This is the only one that I could think of off the top of my head. It's a little over your budget, but it should be a very nice deck

Haven't used anything yet, but I've been told by a crutchfield salesman.
Couldn't find any aftermarket kits for my car.

Maybe Crutcfield doesnt sell one, but that doesnt mean they dont exist.

im pretty sure anyoll headunit will work is ur dash double din or din .5 ull just need a pocket unless im reading this wrong
his problem is his radio is inset about an inch into the dash, so the current cd players which fold open won't work for him as the might hit the dash surround
