Good Headunit for 2003 RSX

I am going to be getting a 2003 Acura RSX soon. It still has its stock CDPlayer and I wanted to replace it.

I don't need much. What I plan on using it for is to hook a portable Sirius satellite radio to it, and also a Creative Zen Mp3 player.

Playing mp3 cd's would be a plus, but not a deal breaker. One thing I would be interested in is having a headphone style jack on the front of the unit (so that I could theoretically plug my mp3 player into that, and use the AUX input on the back for my Sirius receiver.

I would like to spend under $300 if possible.

Any suggestions?

you can go with any head unit, eclipse and alpine i know for sure offer a mini jack input through the cd changer. you have to buy the adapter though, 25 bucks.

Like I said, what I am really looking for is one with a 1/8" jack on the front.

I am also looking for recommendations, so "any head unit" doesn't really help me.

i cant think of anything really mainstream that is going to offer that for you. what you do with the adapter cable is attach it to the changer input, and run a rca to mini jack cable from the adapter on the back of the deck and run it wherever you want. mine is coming out of a pocket in the dash, so i can put my ipod in the pocket. it also has enough cable to put it on top of the console, and when i am not using it, i can tuck it all away out of site.

Okay, after thinking about it more, I don't really need a front AUX input.

What is the best sounding deck I could get for under $300 (I don't mind going to ebay).

It sounds like the Alpine and Eclipse decks are the most preferred around here.

I would go for a Clarion DXZ755MP or a DXZ855MP. I have a DXZ855MP and the touch screen is such a nice feature. It gives the deck a clean look. The deck also sounds great, made my old stock speakers sound 200% better. I think you can get one for like $320 on ebay, or thats what I paid for mine.
