Good component speakers

Hey,

I am fairly new to car audio and i am in need of some new speakers. I drive a 1998 Ford F-150 extended cab. I checked for speaker size and it says it holds 6x8's in the front and rear. I was thinking of doing 6.5" component speakers and was just wondering what the best setup would be. I am most likely going to running them off an amp which i need to find yet. I am looking to spend less than $200 on the speakers, not sure how much on the amp yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

pioneer makes some nice comps and they come with the adaptors for the 6x8 openings you have.

alpine is a nother good choice aslo and come with the adaptors as well iirc.

first you'll need something like:

6.5s are the way to go. Just get 2 sets of RSD's and youll be under budget. Then save for an amp and your set!!!
