6-8k. It all really depends on what purpose it will serve.

If I had 8k (plus a little more)..

-Lexus IS300 for DD

OR

-Honda S2000 for weekend car.

I'm very able of working on my own vehicle.

I'm starting to lean toward the explorer idea now. I can get a nice 01/02 for 3-5k.. through some 22's on it.. and just go all out on the stereo

Midget's are awesome. My dad used to have one, about a 1970 I think. Once I got into the car it was a blast to drive.
