Good Car Audio Cars

Why dont you just wall off your maxima??? You're gonna lose the back seat anyway, and It'll save you some money to spend on the system...you'll be way louder than anything you put in the trunk.
I am selling the Maxima because there is to much maintainance work that has to be done on it...im better off just selling it

You can always do a 95-99 Monte Carlo only problems i had with it is when I got hit by a semi lol' date=' so I had to replace strut tower and wheel baring which is real easy to do. seats fold down, big trunk. Im doing a build log on mine right now, I am putting in 2 15's walling off from the trunk

I'm just to weiry on buying a well used American Car...everything in my judgement says don't do it...with the exception of a few.

I jsut got back from a day of car shopping. Saw a lot that I would consider. There were a few Grand Marquis in my price range, bout 80,000 miles on em for around 5-6K. I saw some Saturns that I am now considering seeing their low cost, decent fuel efficiency, AND HUGE trunk in that little sucker!

Saw a white 02 Lincoln LS with 80K on it for bout 6100 out the door!! was in great shape, all dark leather interior.

AND there was 1 96 Lincoln Town Car with 110K for like 3500 bucks

BEST OFFER OF THE DAY: A salesman walked up to me AFTER I had already been shown around the lot. He calls me right as i'm about to get into my car and said ... CLIFFS:"I have a 1988 Cadillac Eldorado with 54,000 Miles on it, in show car condition, new brakes, new tires, new radiator, Doesnt even look like anyone has sat in it, not a mark on the paint, i'll give it to you for $2000!!!!!

so im thinking its to good to be true, but why risk his reputation where he works if there is something wrong ya know..?? should I persue it??

can't you get some kind of warranty? don't expect him to leave the town after he scam you 2k $ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

he's actually one of the salesman that works at one of the dealerships that I went to so....he knows i know where he works...its a very reputable dealership in my town, and he knows that if its a bad car, that i'll just go to his work and call him out, at which point he'd be in some shit at work

But all in all, his story was pretty legit of how about he came to own it.

96-00 civic hatch. good luck finding one. they sound sweet. you can easily fit 6.5's in front and 6x9's are in the rear already.
There were only 2 in my area... one of which was purple, and the other was at the top of what im willing to spend.

just tore everything outta the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif:crying:

bump...

Narrowed down... took the Lincoln's outta it... down to Grand Marquis, Focus, Saturn, and an 88 Eldorado for 2K... MINT, new tires, new brakes, new radiator

HAS ANYONE OWNED A CADILLAC?? just wondering how much the repairs cost, and if its enough to NOT own one, even at a very cheap price

Get the Cadillac inspected by a mechanic you trust...

and he knows that if its a bad car, that i'll just go to his work and call him out, at which point he'd be in some shit at work
Or they'll just ignore you and ask you to leave. No lemon laws for used vehicles.

Im telling you, If you can fin d a 96-00 96-98 is better because of the front end is different. only slightly but youll notice the difference.

anyway, they are ****ing hella loud.I owned both a focus zx3 hatch and a civic hatch. even tho teh focus had way more interior space, the civic BANGS 200x harder. Id keep on the look for a hatch. I would search any big metropolis cities around you. ....

WAIT A SEC...you're from chi town, just like me.....and your having problems finding a civic hatch? You should try craigslist. or autotrader. Dont get a 92-95 tho, as they dont sound as nice, and the upgrades for them arent really that dope. if your into modding the motor, then go for a 92-95 bc its obd1....but for sound go 96-00!!!! ya feel meh?

also, I can smash around town and still get 35+mpg. highway nets me 49mpgs. thats better than most of these brand new cars coming out lol. As long as you keep up on your maintenence, such as ; timing belt, fuel filter, regular oil changes, then this car will take you over 400k+

My car right now has 147k. Only thing I've ever replaced was the transmission/clutch. [ i wanted a performance *****/clutch combo] timing belt, and wheel bearing. Every car hwoever will have a bad wheel bearing over 120k. its a cheap 70$ job.

I'd avoid the montes.

The 3100/3400's are famous for blowing the head/intake gaskets, and usually when they do they'll spin a bearing, or snap the cam...

If you search craiglist you can usually find a bunch of them needing motors.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you get one, switch to the improved gaskets asap (before they blew and destory your engine.)

i say get the Marquis. big trunk and easy to work on. gs is the basic model. you don't need to cut anything. these get loud.

i brought an 01 Marquis for 9000 with 41000 miles about 3 years ago. keep looking. you can find them cheap. try cars.com

My 03 Deville is a ***** to work and expensive. the older Caddy's should be like older cars that they pretty easy to work on.

HHR, Panel if possible.
no american....

I don't want a zx3... don't trust them, plus I HATE the way they look, but im sure they do get loud

I have serached around quite a bit for the Civic Hatch's... can't find anything in my price range...even those old suckers hold their value above 5K+

I am still considering the Grand Marquis... I can find them with under 100K on them in the years 00-03 for about $4-7K

Guy at the Ford dealership called me today, said they got in a Mitsubishi Mirage, 1995, with ONLY 38,000 miles on it $2200.. 1 owner, grandma car... I just don't know much about them.
