Older saturns are insanely easy to work on...and find parts for...and do alternator upgrades with (with the AC position, which is top, center of the engine...really easy)

i was saying I have a ton of sheet metal, which greatly effected how sound got into the cabin... IF you have fold down seats, its easier to do a sealed off install....
lookin to spend no more than 6K TOPS, just beacuse remote start/alarm install, plus new ALT, plus tint is another 1K on top of what I want to spend

Theres a guy on my team with a focus and I believe 4 or 6 12"s walled off in his focus and he does mid to high 50's legal...

Well, my car is only worth about $4-4500 private party value, and needs $2-2500 in maintainence work so, I figure I might as well sell it
So what are some good car audio cars.... decent amount of space, and easy to work on, and HAS A BIG ALTERNATOR OPTION, because my Maxima sure as hell didn't (180A max) NO SUV's( unless its foreign), NO CRX's! nothing older than 1998

Open to pretty much anything else. I am willing to do a wall in any Hatchbacks mentioned, but not a trunk car

did u do the big 3? if so, u were still getting dimming and/or volt drop with a 180amp alt and 3500 watts?

Btw, my mom has an '03 ZX5 Focus with 56k miles. No problems at all. Just replaced the rear shocks, but just like anything if it's been taken care of you should be fine. I'm not sure if there are HO Alts available for the Focus though.

I think a VW golf or the new rabbits would be sweet. I don't know what kind of alternator you could put in it though. I hear the VW R32's you can make fast pretty easily also. . .

If you were doing a new car I would think a volvo C30 could be done sweet as hell

He said he doesn't want to spend more than $6k. Pretty sure you won't find a used GTi or R32 for that much...

but the trunk on them can't be to big is it?

also considering early 2000 model civics... seats fold on most of em... anybody see people sealin these off at all??

I also found a few Mazda Protege5's today.... i've always liked that car

no mustang 5.0... I wouldnt trust one of those at this age at all

I gotta think bout the focus's..how big of boxes you guys gettin in there?? Im countin on 7-8cu. ft with a sealed off install if I get a trunk car... UNLESS its a huge trunk, like the Grand Marquis, and the Lincoln's (all of em)...

TO SUM IT UP: im going to want to do 2 15's, or an 18 comfortably, or 2 18's if I get a big *** car...smaller the car, less I need.... The new MJ's are comin out soon, thinkin maybe 2x 18's, or maybe 2 18" Q's if mine doesnt sell by then. The Maxima wasn't big enough to do an 18" comfortably, or 2 15's

Why dont you just wall off your maxima??? You're gonna lose the back seat anyway, and It'll save you some money to spend on the system...you'll be way louder than anything you put in the trunk.
