good budget subs

I can balance 3 re se's on my head while sticking my finger in the voice coils and putting my balls on the cone. They are obviously the better sub.

Honestly dasinde? There's so much more than surrounds that makes a sub. Calling one aspect the deciding factor on if a sub is good or not is stupid. I don't know what you have against Re. Great subs at a great price. They get my vote, but also check out the Treo Te's.

I would add that foam surrounds have been crushing the lows for longer than most of us have been alive:crazy:

Alpine E's sound real nice sealed. Alpines in general or Kickers would be the brands I'd look into on a budget

Rockford P3s. Why no one likes them, I dunno, you can get them cheap of ebay, the new model plays more musical than the older grey model and also plays louder, and don't need much more than 500 watts to get loud.

im looking to steer away from big name brands, like kicker and alpine,

you pay for the name, i have a 12" type r now and i dont feel like buying another for the price

looking for more american branded subs, like re,hifonics etc.
