Good amp wiring diagram

The best amp wiring diagram i could find that's easy to understand is this one:

but that is a diagram for speakers hooked up to the amp.. i need one where the amp is hooked up to the subs.

if anyone could find me one or even make one i would greatly appreciate it.. my dad keeps pushing me to take this to a shop to get installed but i honestly think its a waste of money.. i know i can learn how to do this.

a couple other questions:

1. im supposed to run the power wires and rca wires on opposite sides of the car leading back to amp.. is the remote wire considered a power or rca wire?

2. could someone just tell me which wires i should run separately on opposite sides of the car...?

3. in that diagram i embedded above.. the blue remote wire goes from behind the deck all the way back to the amp.. my question is.. where do i feed the wire through from the back of the headunit and then from there to under the kick panels? is there going to be some kind of hole i can feed it through under the dash or what?

4. how and where do u ground a headunit? if there is someone who could explain that to me or find me a good diagram i would greatly appreciate it.

*** I would greatly appreciate any help i can get on these questions. I really want to do this myself, but am just getting into car audio/electrical.

p.s. i know how to wire my 4 ohm DVC sub for a 2 ohm load from the amp so that is taken care of.

sub diagram would pretty much be the same...just move the wiring down to where the subs would be.

2. could someone just tell me which wires i should run separately on opposite sides of the car...?Typically people run the rcas on one side, and the power on the other, I have both of mine running on the same side, roughly 18 inches away, and I have no issues.

Run the blue remote wire through the same "hole" that you run the rcas? Sounds like you don't have a place for rcas either. Letting us know what kind of car you drive would help a lot on this.

wow thanks a lot for all that.. but when u say u run the wire down the center of ur car.. u mean just under the carpet between the seats?

and its hard for me to put in words what im asking as far as where i feed the wires from behind my deck and somehow get them to the kickpanels although i think u might know what i mean.. and ya this goes for the rca's too... basically once i have the deck all closed in.. where do those wires come out of.. im guessin it could be car dependent but i was thinking maybe there were holes under my dash or something where i feed them through.

and my HU is an eclipse cd3100.. and i have this: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127OS1BOSE/GM-Factory-System-Integration-Adapter.html?search=pac+gm&tp=3486 to go with it because i have a factory bose amp i need to bypass.. does that count as a wiring harness? i really have no idea and will i need to ground anything?

run the wire down the sides of your car...pull your panels off and tuck the wire under your carpet...then put panels back on.

i no that.. im assuming u were trying to answer the question about the wires coming out of my headunit..

ill try to explain again..

ok so the wires coming out of the back of headunit.. where do i grab them to get the to the kickpanels.. where do they pop back out?

ooo...i think its car dependent...I'd take the headunit out...shine a light from the back (by your gas pedals) into the dash...look for the light and feed the wires through that hole if it works.

If this is what your asking. Or worst case scenerio take your whole dash off or drill a whole in the side if all else fails.

I grounded mine to the frame that holds the headunit I believe...It's been so long. I totaled my car about a year ago and havent been in caraudio for awhile...It's mostly homeaudio now.
