Check it out, that kicker is a nice amp but it doesnt have a HP filter. It is only going to put out bass, which isnt what you want for the rsd's. Even if you did get the kicker, you will blow the hell out of those rsd's. People are putting 150watts but thats peak, 150rms is 300 peak most of the time. 300 watts will almost deffinately blow these. If your looking for a decent amp alpine has great sounding 4 channels, and so does eclipse and rockford fosgate. Remember, you dont need alot of wattage, as long as you have the quality, you will be able to go as loud as you want.

Some people are running 150 rms to each side, not peak.

WOW did you look at the specs on the Kicker amp? it does have HP/LP filters, and it is 150 x2 @ 4ohms not peak oh btw he can always turn down the gain setting on the amp and if you don`t know Kicker amps or on par if not better than the Amps you mention as decent.

So between the kicker and the profile, the consensus seems to give the kicker the edge.

How much of a difference in sound quality would there be between the kicker and the alpine or the sundown??

I mean are the alpine/sundown amps on another level or something?
