lanzar opti2000d??

so im thinking of getting a lanzar opti2000d to run 2 15" L7's. there 2 ohm subs and will be wired at 2 ohms. they are going in a 8.8 cu ft total box. what do u guys think?

at .5 ohm yeah, but you'd better have the electrical for it. 2 ohms, it'll run them, but not anywhere near their potential. 1600w @ 2 ohms on the opti IIRC.

ok i have decided that i should run it at .5 ohms. the problem is i have no idea how to wire it at that. would anyone like to show me? i would greatly appreciate it.

wire them in parallel... pos to pos neg to neg..then to each other...i know that isnt the greatest explanation but look it up on google or something they will giveyou a better idea... when you wire in parallel it lowers resistance or ohms and when you wire them in series it raises it..

nothing is in my truck yet. im slowly pieceing it together. i will soon have a 250 amp alt. taking the stock battery out and prolly putting in a yellow or red top optima. and then 0 gauge wire from the battery to amp. dont really have room for a second battery. and i have no idea how to do the big 3 and i really dont wanna do the big 3.

don't push those amps on the voltage drops.

Yes. I get voltage drops from 14.4 to 11v if i push my opti full tilt @ 1 ohm. That is stock electrical and 1/0 to the amp. Stock alt is 117A. Will be upgrading very soon. Big-3 and battery in the rear.

the opti2000d is fused to 180 amps iirc... you do the math
