ok, im upgrading my system, im wondering what a good 15" sub would be, i have about $200-250 to spend, but only about 800 watts rms, i was looking at 15" L7's, will they still sound good with only 800 watts going to it? or should i look at L5's? or maybe even something not made by kicker, all though i'd like to get something of that sort, i dont know, what do you think? and what about the refurbished L7's on ebay? i read that if they're refurbished from the factory they should be ok?

Also, i am looking to sell my two 12" MTX 4500's i know they're really low end speakers, but what do you think would be a good price for them?i payed 75 for each of them new, and they're pretty much in brand new conditon, ive only had them for about 3 months, and I've never abused them, and i would also be wlling to sell they box they're in.

just a few thoughts, your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

On woofersetc.com you can get a 15" RF HX2 1000watt sub for 129.99 on sale

or a 15" RF HE for 69.99 ive heard both these arent too bad for a budget but some of the others suggested may be better....

kicker l7 if u wanna get louder

type-r leans more of the SQ side

i had a kicker l5 15" run at 1ohm (500rms) in a vented box, it gets louder than my 2 12" L7's in a sealed using same amp.
