anyone used the Hifonics XX Goliath before? any input on it? i have a good deal on one available and was just wondering if it was a **** good amp i got 2 13w7's and would it be to much for them or just right? the rms on the amp is 2500 watts rms @ 2ohm anyways just let me know how it is shop has them for $1199 right now

People are selling them $400-500 cheaper than that on here. Maybe even on eBay. A Goliath would murder 2 w7's.

the only way you could get away with that is turning the amp way down. i agree with kicker, sounds a little over priced if u ask me.

That would be too much. Plus he probably doesn't have the electrical to keep up, but, you never know. Too much power anyways. I Hifonics XX-Hercules would be a better option. Much cheaper too. Ebay has them for around $430 + shipping.

You could go with the goliath and just have some head room for a different set up. And you can find em cheaper than 1100 so keep lookin.

Herc is rated @ 2000w @ 1ohm

More like 2300-2400w @ 1ohm.

Is there a reason y you would run mids and highs off a goliath for daily use?

2200-2300 too much for 2 13w7s?

AT MOST i'd say you'd get 2500w
