Going with a digital eq I need a single sin. Options?

I THINK nowadays most people either have head units with really god tuning or separate tuners. You hear less and less about single din in dash eq, Example My pioneer has 16 band graphic and time alignment. Only logical next step is a processor.

Ok and what is the beinifit of a proccessor?
Flexability. Independent crossover options, delay, and eq per channel. More bands of graphic and parametric eq, etc. You can get head units any more that have WAY more options than the in dash deq units still around.

Why do you need a EQ?

EQs where used with tapes along with dolby noise reduction because after awhile the quality of the tape starts to fade

cds and digital music doesn't fade or lose sound quality and most 5 band eqs in deck will work fine

if your going for an all out SQ set up, read up before buying a ~30 band eq

you;d be better off with some kinda processor

rockford 360.1 or audioson bit1 to name a few
