Ok so the phoenix gold website says to play a 50hz tone and I want a 35.2 voltage if I'm at 1ohm. Sound about right? I'm going to play this tone thru my USB flash drive since that's how I listen to music. If my amp and magnets still get hot, then it's a voltage supply issue correct?

So he sets with the phone. What happens when he puts in a CD with a hotter signal?
That's a rhetorical question. Because it may be a smoke show.

that is if he even uses CDs in the first place, its user preference. If he will never touch CDs, then he is fine doing it that way.

Got the gain set thru my USB with a 50hz tone. Specs say 35.2 but put it at 34v with a meter. It doesnt really hit like I thought it would. My old Sonya made it hit harder. But it doesn't get hot. Idk. Maybe it's my HU levels and EQ aren't right.

go up slowly and monitor heat levels. Slowly learn the limits of your system.
