going to get a SA-12, building my own box

the specs will be 1.87 cubic feet tuned to about 31 hertz i think. Will this sound good for this sub? like will it get low while being able to do alright with highs? the amp ill be using is a hifonics 1200 watt amp wired down to one ohm because i think the real output is 800 watts from the amp. also what would be better and louder, an RE *** 12, kicker cvx 12, or sa-12? these are the subs i'm considering getting and it'd be in that box. also if there's any other suggestions for a box size i'd like to hear them also. thank you

An re or sa woofer will put that kicker to shame all day long. I dont know anything about the re 12's but i know the SA12's never leave u less then impressed. Plus there on sale right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif As for the box, honestly build it to the recommendations on SSA's website when u buy it. It will sound best there, they know what the sub likes lol

yeah thats what i'm thinking i've heard nothing but good things about sa's. but do you know if one sheet of 4x8 mdf would be enough to build that box? cuz i would really like it if thats all i needed
