BTW, Jplaya135, go with a XXX ported! You won't be disappointed.

I thought the prices of 12" Sx's were around 250 each. Well i was reading another post and it said they were 280 without shipping. Thats kinda out of my budget. I wasnt lookign to spend over 500 for a pair of subs. Does anyone have any other ideas as to some other good setups that will get loud?

sx 12's are 270 shipped and if that is too much then possibly two se 12's or 15's

Would 2 12" Se's get louder than my old L7? Also could the se's handle 1000 watts? and if they can is there a way to order them from re with dual 2ohm instead of 4ohm?...and how much of a difference would there be in the se's and sx's spl wise? sorry for so many questions. thanks

heres what u should do..........get two sx12's and run them off your bx1500...u will get loud and sound good...and if u want process your bass get a epicenter u can get one 4 140dollars

Ok since you have made up your mind on the SE. Using a hifonics 1000 watt amp will be fine. I'll guess you car does not run at a constant 14.4v so You will get a bit less power than 1000.

When you hook it up and set your gains, just make sure the speakers are not exceding there limits and you will be fine.

Alrite sounds good....Hifonics makes the titan and the brutus that both come in 1000 watt and have the same specs....is the titan as good as the brutus...i mean they have the same specs and imo i think the all black look of the titan looks better than the brutus so i mean if they are the same i will get titan amps. Btw 80inches..i sold my bx1500 so...

I've never had the chance to run a titan but I had the BX1000d. Very decent amp for it's price. I would guess the titan is not as good as the brutus. It is one level down from the brutus. But I agree the black look is clean. You will have to gamble on it unless you find some one who actually owns the titan.

yeah im prob. gonna just go with a 1500 watt titan. I just ordered my 12" se's and the more i thought about it...if i ran 2 1000 watt..since they se's are dual 4 ohm it would only be 700 watt to each speaker. But if i ran the two in parellel down to 1 ohm it would be 750 watt each and save me 250 bucks so. Thanks for your help trigger.

Not the 2.5 cubic foot one @ 30hz. But the rest are correct to my knowledge.

Good choice on the 1500. Even if your car runs at 13.8v you should get about 550-650 per speaker. Good match.

OT - Geez when are they going to fix that one???
