there is really no "basic" way to do it. it is equipment biased to settings. (i was pmed a question about it) you speakers/set up are what determin x over points but to control from your deck totally (if your deck does this) i would set the xovers on you amps to full range. as a safety measure you can set up ur amps xovers semi close to what you are setting your speakers too from the deck but in general going full range on the amps x over is all thats needed.
