Going active with 8443

I really want to try this out in my car. I recently bought a cd8443 for my first step. I was looking at those bg neo 3 planar tweeters and probably a seas mid or the ascendant if everything starts working out. Does this deck have enough features where i could set the crossover points for the mid and tweet? is there anything else i need? i kinda need the kick in the *** to get started with this (in other words, some more knowledge)

that deck is perfect for going active. adjustable slopes up to 24 db, 5 bad peq for mid and high each.

yes the 8443 will do all that you need to run a 2 way front stage. also you also need at least one channel per speaker meaning either using a two 2 channel amps or a 4 channel amp.

No, they would not need to have internal xovers.

if running an active 2 way front stage, you're good to go. the 8443 can low pass the sub, bandpass the mids and hi pass the tweets.
