Going active. Crossover question.

I'm looking to go active with my components and I'm looking for a crossover. I found a 24xs with a 24db slope. But the 2xs is a little cheaper and has an 18db slope. I'm not concerned about a few bucks. I was just wondering what impact the slopes will have. Any experts on this?

Many would prefer the 24dB/oct slope. I do.

Should give you a little more flexibility in x0ver points and the roll off is steeper. More safe for tweets as well, so they wont' play much lower than your desired xover point
