okay at frist i want to port a 10xxx for my reg cab truck. but im starting to wounder if sealed would be better. im looking for sq. if i go ported im going with 1.8 cu feet of air space with a vent tuned to 30 hz. if sealed .8 cubic feet of air space. what do you think would sound better? i want the best possible sq but i want it to bump hard too. thanks for your advice

You sure you can fit a ported xxx in a reg cab? Most likely sealed will sound better with the amount of airspace you have.

In a reg cab truck, a sealed XXX will have more output than you could possibly need.

okay i lied i got one more question lol. mounting depth i plan to put in with a 7.5'' mounting depth. okay??

sorry to thread jack buddy, but i have a 2002 escalade suv and my cuzn has a 2004 escalade ext. we are thinking of going either 3 re xxx 10" or 3 re sx 10" and we want to go sealed. do you guys think that will be cool? we want sq and to be heard from a couple blocks away. any opinions will help, thanks
