Glued subs, will they ever sound the same?

Yeah, the rubber part around the outside the the sub, the part that expands when the bass hits //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif sorry, dont know the technical term

 
If all thats wrong is the surround became somehow detached, then yes, gluing it back together will be fine. They recone and re-surround speakers all the time, and they sound like new.

However, I'd be willing to bet something else might be wrong if the surround is detaching. But it's cheap and easy to "fix", so give it a shot and see for yourself if it still works.
