Im a noob, so go easy on me....
I have searched around a bit on here and just need some advice to fill in the gaps. The system i want to build is relatively simple: 6.5 components up front, and a single 12 sub preferably all running from a single amp. After snooping around threads on here, Im going to run either Image Dynamics ctx65cs's or PPI 356cs's up front and omit the 6x9's (rear fill). Now I need help on choosing a decent amp to power the front stage, and power a single 12" sub that will balance nicely with the components. So, are there decent amps that do "3ch" mixed stereo/mono for this arrangement? And what type of sub should i throw into this combination? Id like a good all around system in terms of spl and sq, if that helps, and my deck is a eclipse cd3200 for what thats worth. As far as budget for the sub and amp, were looking 500ish or less depending on what you folks recommend.
