give me a budget woofer for 100-150rms .. helpin a friend

need a budget woofer.. amp is about 100-150rms, maybe more..old MTX thunder 275x..

he just wants to fill out his music.. so that shouldnt be too hard

8" maybe even a 6.5" or a pair of 6.5s,.,, infinite baffles maybe even?

its for a 68 impala... so maybe mount a sub or 2 in the package tray? 150rms will round out his sound decent i think.. and i have the old amp sittin around so tryin to help him on the low $$$$ side of things.. could also build a box for a single 10 or somethin.. but would like to keep it as clean as possible

only other parts of the setup are a pioneer headunit, older model, basic... and 6.5" old clarion 2 ways we had sittin around

help me talk him outta a bazooka tube he found for $50...

this might not be a bad idea... perhaps a pair of these... HMMMM...

they need small enough space that i could almost create an enclosure that bolts up to the stock package tray and vents through it into the car... might sound nice.. HMMMM

kicker comps, are dirt cheap and sound good/take a beating for the price. some little kicker 8s would do ok IB, you might have to seal off his deck though

those EDs have great reviews and are supposed to have impressive output for a 6.5 woofer and at that price you really can't go wrong IMO

I'm going to have to recommend a DD 1508. You WILL NOT be disappointed in a properly built box. Tune that bish to around 40 hz and give it hell.

Not really a budget woofer. You can buy 3 of the JBL's for the price of 1 of those.

Uber deal? Not hardly. Look in the classifieds or if you have 20 dollars more go to a DD dealer that has some in stock and flash the cash at him. These are the lowest end DD's. They aren't very expensive but they are a way better sub than what you recommended. roll your eyes at your own ignorance.
