1st gen RE SX, and new SX. .. are they the same?

I sold my sx18 a while back. The guy i sold it to never even installed it, and sold it back to me yesterday for 100.00. .

so, guess my question is, would there be any problems running a first gen RE SX18 with the new ones?

Im thinking about grabbing up a second one.

The specs look the same as far as i can tell

The new SXX's are completely different, and completely inferior to your older SX.

it would be like running two completely different subs. Your best bet is to find a used one
