Well acctually the dynamat itself was $81..+ shipping and I bought their dynamat roller thing for 8 bones...didnt want to press the shit on with my thumb for hours. I dont think its a total ripoff... $200+ is a ripoff. Might not be the best deal as compared to alpine etc but eh.... 36 sqft is PLENTY for a 92 civic.

Wait, your thinking of upgrading the Rainbows to the Germs, yet you won't put in some better subs? I mean I understand she may not like the bass of your L7 or whatever, but you did say you usually drive it.

Well yeah I do usually drive it.. and this is soon to be the vehicle that I drive way more often. I plan on having this car until it dies in 10 years...92 civic with 83k original miles on it CLEAN as shit... might not be the "best car" but its definately got value.

The main reason why I really want to upgrade the SLX's to a higher end set would be... im going to put alot of time into getting the tweeters in such a sleek spot and I wanted to make sure that 2 months down the line I didnt have to swap them out...with some better stuff...

I am going to wait and see how the type s's sound sealed with the pdx 1.600...I think it will be sufficent for now... considering they were just $31 a pop BNIB disco. They have been sitting for 2 months now.

Anyway, meh, I would get different subs. It's your money though. Nothing wrong with testing them out I suppose.

Well the thing is I can always sell the S's and upgrade and wouldnt lose any money because of the fact that I got them for $31 a piece. I mean these things go for $60+ NIB. Also I have heard that the S's sound better than the R's but... I guess well see because I have heard R's Sealed before...onl time will tell/preference.
