Girl with $1000, help me out.

I have a friend whos girlfriend wants a system. She told me she didn't want to spend anymore than $1000. She said she wanted 2 10's, in a sealed box that got decently loud and sounded really good. I told her she could get a lot of internet brands for cheap, but she wants to stick with "main stream" companies, such as alpine, jl, RF, kicker, mtx, etc. All she wants is subs and an amp. I was thinking 2 JL 10w6v2's (ebay for $525 shipped), and a amp that puts out around 800-1000 watts of clean power. What are some of yalls opinions? Again, she doesn't want to go ported, so it would have to be a sub that sounds good and gets loud sealed.

I love my 2 10" Diamond Audio M6s. I have them paired with a PG Tantrum 1200.1 tuned to 29hz and it sounds absolutely amazing.

Just a suggestion. Would have plenty of money for the other misc. costs.

just bass, quality bass, i don't really think she understands what she could be with $1000, but she said she wanted quality stuff.

What about 2 10w6v2's off a alpine mrd-m1001? Right at $950 shipped off ebay.

well, me and her boyfriend, my friend, work at a grocery store together. So one day, we were stocking, and i looked down the isle, and saw her. I agree, but shes the type of person who likes to brag about stuff, so having JL subs fits her (since so many people think they are God's gift to mankind, not saying they're bad or anything).
