Its only usefull if you need it.

You should run 1/0 ga with a fuse.

Sealed batteries are better for in trunk.

Yes, I would run 1/0 from pos. of the front batt, to pos. of rear batt... making sure to get a good chassis ground (in 1/0) on both ends. Also, make sure you fuse both ends of the power wire between the two batts. out of curiosity why fuse both ends? and what size fuses?

cause if there is a short in the middle only one battery will be protected.

awesome, i have two runs of -0- gauge, so would it be better to run two runs of positive, or one of each?

the neg is the ground. run 0ga from back battery to somewhere on the frame for a ground. make sure it's a beatirful ground

Personally, if I were going to have a G31 under the hood, and one in the back, I would find a solid ground in the back and use both 1/0 for power... of course, then you would need 4 fuses...
