Ghetto car-home setup?

I was thinking weld together a stand with an alternator mount and a 1 horse electric motor mount. Run a belt from motor to alt and use an external regulator.

Make a little hideaway and there you go. Something along those lines.

wow i did the same thing last week really easy once you know how to do it but no one out there explains it easily. im using one to power a alpine amp and my RCA's are from some old radio that i stole from my garage, only use the radio when im working down there anyways.

i will be using it for my RC cars too, you got a slash those **** things own. i had one 30 feet in the air and landed on pavement and didnt hurt a **** thing, i am trying to break it and cant and now its winter so no morebig *** stunts.

i have something like this in the works.

old ford crown vic interceptor alternator, so you know it puts out good amps.

a old beefy sewing machine motor. 1700 rpm.

im trying to figure out a bracket to mount the alt.

that means i could have a small sealed battery in my room and charge it and run some decent stuff.

also good to keep un-used batteries going.

So a mechanical conversion to electrical conversion then another electrical conversion?

That's something only this forum could cook up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

All that plus a house fire:crazy:

I just run wires from my car to my house when I want a home stereo.

Park my car in the driveway, put a brick on the gas pedal to keep voltage up.. bada bing, bada boom. Full tilt for hours at a time.

Thats mine.

Used to be used in ham radio set up.

Also ive seen a set up where an alt was used to charge a battery, to run an electric motor to power the alt to charge the bat........

And way more money into gas than necessary.

I'd like to see a pic of this setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And they said free power was not possible.fuck you electric company
They also said something about "conservation of energy", too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Car alternators **** for low-RPM power, even if you had another energy source to drive it.
