Getting new car--RSX type S ?

Once my Tahoe sells Im gonna get my new car...Im leaning towards an Acura RSX type S..What do you all think?

I can completely see where your coming from by wanting a smaller car..I drive an 91 olds and its a tank and every day i want a new smaller car. I like the RSX's but i prefer the celica GT's but thats just my preference.

True. I dont like the Celica very much I dont like the looks of it. Its not very fast as far as I know is it?

Nah the celica's are not that fast but i drove a 2005 celica gt 2 days ago(sisters coworker let me drive it to the tattoo parlor) and i love how they drive. The only thing i dont' like about the car is the back window had the toyota decal on it and the window was small to begin with so i couldnt' see out the window at all which is a problem. I wouldnt' want a really fast car anyways with my driving i would total the car the first week i had it. If you like the looks of the RSX then i say go for it and trade that tank in, who wants to pay the gas for it anyways..right?

I would go with that, trade in your gas guzzler for a real car =]

Very good choice, i've driven one and loved it. Couldn't afford the insurance on it however so i got an 05 tC instead.

RSX > Celica in just about every category, IMO ...

Its been on autotrader a couple of days now...no offers yet. Can't wait till I can get a car though. I'm not sure if there is anything else I should look at besides the type S. I myself am planning to get a Tc but not a supercharged version. Also, the Tc, actually Scion itself, was made by Toyota for the modding community. There are suppose to be many other 3rd party vendors that will be making superchargers for the Tc also atleast by the end of this year.

Other than that the Type-S is a sweet car also. Just a little on the pricey side, IMO.

i owned an rsx, my brother has the tC, and my cousin who used to live with us has a celica. from driving all of em, my opinion is:

rsx>tC>celica. rsx has a slow bottom end, but once u hit vtec, that shit is just awesome. tC has nice low end torque so it picks up pretty quickly, but top end is crap. celica is like a slower version of the rsx.

based on interior:

rsx>tC>celica. rsx has leather, nicer seats, and a nice gauge setup. tC is alrite, comfy seats but dash aint as nice. celica has a very plasticky, tacky dash.

as for price:

celica>tC>rsx (celica = cheapest)

my vote, rsx by far.

Acura makes some nice stuff...I'd prefer that over the other two choices (esp. if you're looking at only new cars).

nice choice man...RSX Type-S is one SWEET car...especially the type-s...i dont really like the original rsx...the type-s have a better body to it...
