dei used to make decent amps though. i remember about 5 years ago my ex g/f's husband had 12 ppi flat-top tens running off of 2 directed amps and he could do small hair tricks.

Dude, he was running 12 subs. At that point a hair trick should be a requirement.

true. but if you remember the ppi flat subs were only 200 watts rms. it wasnt the pro versions that team gates used. it was the cheaper ones. i bet he was running less than 2k to all of them.
