Getting more sound from the trunk

I have a Dodge Charger. I have one 10in Sub in the trunk and I would like to know how I can get more sound from it. Seems my Seats eat a lot of the bass/sound. I thought about just running a Port on the rear deck into the trunk. Would this help any?

fold the seats down when you ride solo.

Either then that, a better enclosure, power or sub will give you more sound.

4th Blowthroughs can work if your sub can perform well in a 4th order.

My rear seats don't fold down.

This is my set up now. The Sub is getting changed out for a Sundown SA 10in.

I would like to upgrade to a 12in SA with a set up like this..

as of now, you are only going to get more output if you put the box closer to the trunk lid and fold the seats down. That far away from the trunk lid will cause you to lose some output. The 4th order blow through sundown setup would be a very nice upgrade in the future.

The Green LED one is that a 4th order blow through?

I want to do something that is simple, yet looks good and provides protection to the Sub. My Current set up has no protection...

I figured I could build something like this, but not sure what size to cut everything... I would build a thin false wall for Shows to cover up the front of the box and gaps on the side. Not sure on wanting or needing both ports.
