wiring in a mercedes?

hey guys, was thinking of doing an sq setup in my 04 sl500. ive read the wiring in these cars iss ran y fiber optic cables.. how does this affect the wiring? are these things a nightmare to install in?

it's all pretty cut and dry if you're doing a full system. just get 12v, ground, ignition for the radio than run all of your own wires. not hard just time consuming.
