Getting even with landlord Legaly!

Well it says on their paper reasons for notice and it has all the things you mentioned plus flat tires.. You must have missed the fine print on your contract.

At my restaurant I get idiots that park their cars there sometimes over night or just all day thinking its a car-pool lot.. I put a note saying you will have 2 hours to move this or it will be towed at vehicle owners expense.. So far this year we have had about 7 cars towed.

The management probably thought it was trashing their oh so beautiful parking lot.

You just gotta take your loss man.

Shit happens.

Yep. Those property management places generally dont make a move without knowing their *** is covered legally. And its amazing what 'rights' you sometimes sign away when you sign a contract to live in a gated community. I will never, EVER, live under such circumstances again. My neighbors being able to judge my vehicle status, parking rights, length of grass, if I bring in the garbage cans soon enough, etc... fucking nuts.

Ya shit sucks.. They aren't stupid and know what they can do to such extent. They could've put the notice on your door.. But do they have to?

Nope. They can do whatever they want.

So you're tires were only flat for 2 hours and it got towed? I'm sure that POS has been sitting on flat tires for months and it's not registered. They provide you with an extra parking space, not storage.

Pay the towing fee and put it in a real storage place this time and consider it a lesson learned...

Yea this gated community thing is a joke. They lie to every tennant to get them to move here. Little things too like "look we keep a bin with plasitc bags so people can pick up after their dogs." Only thing is that bin has been empty for 7 months now. They say they have a hot tub when really its a small square pool the thing dosnt get hot. The worst one was they toold us by moving hear they would report on our credit report when we paid rent on time. That way no one wold eve have to call to get a reference from them it would all be in the credit report plus it would raise my score and help with auto loans or credit card rates. Well shortly after moving in the property management switched and the new management is refusing to honor that service. That right there i think is ground for a class action suit in small claims court. I know other tenants are pissed about the conditions here. Never again will i do a gated community or live anywhere with HOA.

FYI.......if you ever want to take something to court never post it on a public forum. All of your evidence could be dismissed if they find it on here. It also allows the defense to see everything you have against them and makes it easier for them to defend the evidence.

I did not read it all but basically you should quit parking your Classic truck in your piece of shit apartment community.

There fixed

So they think my truck is an eye sore but they let things like this go unmaintained

Like i said they want to complain and take action ill do the same. They let me slide in the past and i didnt make a big deal in the past now that all changes.

Really? i would think if i committed some sort of fraud and posted it on here it would be a stupid idea. But posting factual experiences i really doubt a court would dismiss picture and video evidence just for being on a forum. Maybe im wrong but that makes sense to me.

U do live in Vellejo FTL. jk but ask them for a month or two free rent [jk again] and threaten to report them to the department of housing!

It has nothing to do with fraud. Releasing evidence to the public before it is submitted in court is a no no

Indeed. I drive around a POS because it's cheap and good on gas. I wouldn't live in a place that tried to fine me on something like that.

I bought my pos because i needed a beater while work was done to my cop car and then i thought the old truck would be a nice project later on. I figured private property with DMV non op registration would cover myself once i got the cop car back but yea i learned private communitys **** They really arnt worth the extra money you pay or the freedoms you loose by living there. I may never get the truck back im trying to find out where it is and how much its going to cost to get it out. It may not be worth it to get the truck back.
