getting back into car audio

It's been awhile since I posted on this forum. All I remember is fi car audio, ssa, mach 5, and others.

I'm getting back into it but i've been out the car audio scene for awhile now and don't know what to get lol. I have a 2012 nissan altima sedan, i'm going to upgrade my head unit first, then speakers, and subwoofer.

I want a subwoofer that's going to be great in a sealed box, can get quite loud i listen to mostly rap. I was aiming toward the 13w6 is there anything better than this sub in a sealed box

SSA Icon should be pretty solid in sealed enclosure. Plus they are much cheaper.

I recommend Ultra Subs LV12 or LV12SQ Ultra Tech - Get Real, Get ULTRA - LV-12SQ

The Ultra SS-6 is a nice component set and their amps are also great.

I remember SSA iCONS when they were first announced. I like the RMS on the Ultra Q subwoofer, is the Fi Q still a great option to consider/

Both Ultra LV12SQ and Fi Q are designed for sealed and vented enclosures. I would go Ultra, but both are good.
