Just here...
So i totaled my monte carlo and just put a deposit down on a 98 camaro friday, so i'm looking to get 2 10 ich L7's for the camaro. I want tens due to space, and i want L7's because i've always had round subs. I sold my whole setup to get a downpayment, so i can start over now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .
Right now i'm looking at getting a Infinity Reference 1211a and getting 2ohm DVC L7's and wiring them down to 2 ohms with the 1211a.
The only problem i see with this amp is that idk what the peak is.
» mono subwoofer car amplifier
» 854 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (1300 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
» variable low-pass filter (32-320 Hz @ 12 dB/octave)
» Dynamic Bass Optimization (DBO) circuit (0-12 dB @ 20-80 Hz)
» Class D design
» CEA-2006 compliant
» preamp inputs and outputs
My next amp that i've found is a kenwood KAC-9102D If i choose this i want to get 4ohm DVC L7's and wire each sub to their own amp at 2 ohms.
» mono subwoofer amplifier
» 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (850 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)
» variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave)
» variable bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz )
» subsonic filter (15/25 Hz, 18 dB/octave )
» top-mounted controls
» Class D design
» CEA-2006 compliant
» speaker- and preamp-level inputs
» preamp outputs
These are the two i've found, what are some others that would be worth looking at? I'm looking to spend around 300 for an amp or amps, because i now have to make a car payment. Thanks
