Nothing Is Promised
So my //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/happybirthday.gif.cf3b74dd09262549b364fdc9c53196f1.gif is coming up within two weeks. I need a laptop for college starting this fall. I can either get a laptop soon (like order this week or next) and incorporate another $100 - $200 that my parents will spend on bday into the laptop for extras OR have a regular bday present (no idea on that area) and get a laptop in like July but not have as much to spend of the parental units money and/or wait for new technology to appear (kinda doubt it will in two months though)
I am looking at two laptops right now; HP dv9000z and a CLX from iBuyPower
Both laptops I am configuring with the same basics; Vista Ultimate, AMD TL-64, 2GB, and GeForce 7600. Only differences so far are the screens, HD I choose, and overall appareance.
For now I left the HDs are 80GB 5400RPM. I will change before I order one but just using them as price comparison.
HP dv9000z - $1,551.99
iBuyPower Battalion CLX - $1624.00
I didn't post the specs because it made the post too long.
Anyone on here have experience with iBuyPower? All their reviews are good, I'm just curious.

If anyone has a different laptop they suggest, post it up. I am wanting the AMD X2 TL-64, nVidia GPU, atleast 2GB, and Vista Ultimate.
