I have had no experience, but like others say, they are slightly better than the Type R's.Thanks for the suggestions looking each of these up.
Has anybody had any experience with the Audioque SDC2.5s? The 12s are only $140 each.
My vote to the SX if you can find them, I went from a type r to my SX and I think it was a great upgrade, the SX is louder and sounds better than my r did.... but you can't really go wrong with any of the subs mentionedold style re sx12
Lol SQ sub? Take this from someone who just got done listening to them 1 hour ago... They are not a SQ sub by any means. They do get loud though. Id go with them over Type Rs, but I like was I hear about these SA 12s.A lot of mixed reviews on the AQs. Some people say they are SQ subs but dont hit hard, others say they do.
I found a dealer in another city that sells sundown and DC subwoofers so I'm going to go check them out when I get time.
RE-SX? Any idea where I can find the old versions? Or how I'll know they are the old ones?My vote to the SX if you can find them, I went from a type r to my SX and I think it was a great upgrade, the SX is louder and sounds better than my r did.... but you can't really go wrong with any of the subs mentioned
Whoever said the SDC is a SQ sub is on crack. They sound decent but should never be referred to as sq subs. They were louder than my type r's, but only marginally. They are 140 each and 25 shipping each, so the sa is only 25 bucks a piece more and is much more of a sub.
(I've had 2 12 inch scd 2.5's and 2 type r 12's, both ported off of 1200 rms, so I have good experience with both)
Well thanks guys. I guess I can cross the AQ SDCs off my list. Calling around to a few shops today to see if they carry sundown or DCs.Lol SQ sub? yeah WinISD is God with output predictions... esp because all companies measure their drivers' efficiencies the samesa-12s will get louder than anything mentioned according to winisd, even if u compare a FI SSD off 800watts and the sa-12 on 600
