I recently bought a RF R500.1 Prime Amp. Its a mono block amp that is internally bridged. I want to run at 2 ohms. I want to get one 12" P3 sub(DVC). From what i have seen on the Rockford Fosgate wireing diagram i should get to P3412 and not the P3212. But i have seen a few people saying I need to get the same amount of ohms as i want to run on my amp. I'm pretty sure this int true but i would like to be backed by a creditable source. (Rockford Fosgate.com did justice but just a double check)
(Noob Question)The wireing diagram on RF.com said to run the positive and negative to the sub, but i do run to each coil? Do i lose power when i do not run the other voice coil?
I have a single cab 1993 Ford ranger. Theres not much room to mount the amp traight sideways in there with a 25" long box and a 16" long amp. Would it hurt the amp to run it verticaly?
Lastly I want to run regular P3 not a shallow. Its mounting depth is 6.75". The box i plan on ordering says it has a mounting depth of 7". Im really skeptical of it fitting in a angled box. If you could shed some light on this it would be Great!
If your wondering" How does this guy drive this truck?!" No worrys, im 5'8" and 135lbs. I plan on finishing out high school in this truck.
The Wireing Diagram- Rockford Fosgate® - Woofer WiringWizard
The Box- Metra IBTS12P Single 12" Truck Flat Pack Enclosure
BTW- Same question on Y***** A****** and not a peep.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
