I was just wondring if you guys might be able to help me pick the best (loudest/deepest) 15" subwoofer That I can run daily. I was looking at the fi btl 15" but im still new to this audio site, so I dont know if theres a better bang for the buck?.

Im willing to spend $800 on just the sub any opinons will be great.

Thanks

Have you considered the cost of an amplifier and electrical upgrades to run it? Or did you just plan on spending your entire budget on a sub and buying a Boss "3000 watt" amplifier, or whatever the cheapest thing you could afford on stock electrical? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Im just looking for one. lol
You said you were willing to spend $800 and I told you that you could get two badass subs with that kind of money. I don't see the problem here. If you want a BTL and have $800, buy one. Then use the other $300+ to help pay for 2,500 watts to throw at it, a big *** battery and an alternator.

If he has a trunk car, two 15's may be out of the question.

Two 12" > one 15" though.

^ I was thinking of using my current components kenwood execlon kfc-x1300p powered by the kac-522? or should i up grade that too.

thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ps the car is a 95 civic hatch

Best thing is to ask about the part of your system that makes up the most music first, like the tweets and mids....just my opinion though. Go with the BTL to get loud
If only everyone would put a system together properly.

There'd be noone using 4 12"s on 4,000 watts in the back and a pair of $50 coaxials on deck power in the front doors.

I understand that, man. I was simply saying he has plenty of money to buy the sub he wants.

My friend went from a pair of 12" CVRs to a single 15" Lvl 4 and it's a substantial upgrade in pretty much every way.

Yes, but if OP has $800 to spend, he can get two awesome $400 12" subs or one $800 15" sub. And since there aren't too many $800 15" subs, he'd be realistically spending $400-$500 at most on a 15".

Since both size speakers would be in the same league, the 12's would win due to more motor force and cone area. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

We should beat the shit out of him and take his money. I don't know about you, but I could use $400.
