Im not sure what the preout voltage is and will do? Also is it even necessary to have a HU or is it possible to connect your system to stock, if you could would this be bad? BTW im planning this out so when i get a car (00 jeep grand cherokee) i will just need to install.
on the back of the headunit is RCA jacks. Theres voltage going through them. THe higher the voltage the less you have to turn your amp up, which will eliminate the possiblity of noise in the signal. 3volts is about average.
